I LOVE THE HOLIDAYS!

This week/end I am determined to find a neighborhood covered in lights & decorations & just walk or drive through it and soak it all in.  I still haven't finished decorating but we got distracted & started watching "the room" on Friday. (HIGHLY recommended!!)  

I love this time of the year so much, it just always goes by so fast!

...but I'm pretty into the new, "hip" Santa or Claus as he's now known as.

That & I am so glad BOOST mobile has dropped the "where you at" tag.  These new commercials are kinda funny:

I mean, look at George's undershirt adorned with the white tuxedoesque detailing.

C'mon, it's (kinda) funny.

AND WAY BETTER THAN THOSE FREE CREDIT REPORT.COM ADS (or the sarah mclachlan animal spots.)  I have come dangerously close to throwing my remote at the tv every time those come on.

The other night we went to the Griffith Park Observatory in hopes of getting to see the planets next to the eclipse.  Unfortunately it was ridiculously foggy and the telescopes were all closed up for the evening.  We still had fun exploring-well most of us did.  I think Sara was a little bored.  (sorry sara)

I remember taking field trips here as a kid & going with my parents on occasion before it was remodeled.  It's such a beautiful building and on a clear day/night, the views a top the hill are amazing.  Highly recommended.

one day i will have a child (or 2) and i cannot wait to dress them up like these fashionable parisian babies.
