I spent a good portion of my weekend at the florida house. we celebrated emily's birthday with a sweet dinner. we also spent a decent amount of time just sitting on the porch, holding both trivial and substantial conversations - had a baby dance party in the kitchen - made everyone listen to my current guilty pleasure/ 'jam' - which did not go over too well. (no shame.) sunday we managed to make it to the palisades for a full moon night hike. it was a nice way to end the weekend, after everything, although now i'm about 3 hours behind on all my Sunday shows. I may just go into hiding until my birthday on friday. dear disneyland, we're coming.
