hipsters on the runway

I don't know how I feel about adored fashion house, GUCCI aiming for hip.
In addition, as much as I'm into the leather jacket, all I can think about when I look at it are the Prada lambskin 'Stripes' bags.
whatever.

the $450 lesson

i guess from now on i will be that asshole that slams on my breaks the second the light turns yellow.

teddy's on tuesday

tuesday night elise, myself and some friends went to teddy's to see chromeo perform at the BPM issue release party or something like that.  we were all having fun, but elise thought i left her and grabbed a cab home.  after becoming frustrated w the cab situation i convinced myself it would be much easier to walk and after reconnecting with elise i found her in the above pic with an order or fries, onion rings and a pizza.
i love you for always and forever elise.

the weekend we painted SF red

we crammed as much as we could into our 4 day visit.  looking at these makes me sad. i miss my bestie.  we had so much good food in san fran, lots of fun adventures and nice reunions with other old friends i hadn't seen in far too long.
i'll definitely be returning soon.

cheaper by the dozen deux

a group of us decided to attend the hollywood forever cemetery screening of the hunger saturday evening.
i packed a fruit bruschetta i'd prepared as well as some other items to snack on.
somehow while hurrying out the door with my bags and picnic basket i managed to leave my keys on the tv stand, subsequently, locking myself out.
one hour and $150 later i had my keys and sped off to the cemetery.
such bullshit.
even though the movie was horrible, we all had a lot of fun just hanging out and enjoying the nice weather.
i'm going to be a hermit this week in an effort to save as much money as possible by thursday when sara and i make our trek up to SF.
we're coming for you b!

don't stop til you get enough...

i think it's safe to say, i've had enough.  i believe i've crammed a summer's worth of bbqs and beach days and celebratory parties into a week and a half & i'm done.
saturday i went and saw SATC, The Movie. i am certainly in love all over again.  in love with the city, in love with the fashion, in love with the lifestyle.  i'll admit that at times, it was slightly depressing how dysfunctional all the women's relationships could be but it could be argued that it gave their absolutely fabulous lifestyle some sense of reality.
i will definitely go again.
below are a couple of pictures from the past 10 days or so.
i left my camera at home a couple of times, but you get the idea.
ohh summer school, here i come.
