10-28-08

Tuesday night, Elise, Mel & I went to the Green Door to watch my friends, We Barbarians perform.  I think we all had a pretty decent time granted how tired we were and from my pictures it's probably better I didn't have "more fun" if you know what I mean.  That face of mine needs to de-bloat, let the puffy alcohol face detox for a little.

The kid above would not stop.  I wished he had friends who would've pulled him aside & been like "dude-bro, tonight's not your night."
Elise found herself a more suitable dance partner.

"Oh no, she looks ugly!!"

halloween teaser

Friday was the first of the Halloween parties.  There are no photos of me because I was not in my "real" costume, just a filler.  In true ridiculous party fashion, b's party was broken up by 1am by the cops but that didn't stop us.  Tim & Colin kindly continued the party for a group of us at their house.  The remainder of my weekend has been spent recovering.
Sr. Tapitio & Matty the Cowboy?  (Apparently this isn't matt's "real" costume either--thankfully)
Tim, I think he was sunshine? I have no idea & Erin & her roomies were cute martians. They are both awesome. Scotttty...total perv

Andrew! You did me proud
Erica, leading on the air freshener. Tease.
Greg, the dance machine and provider of music for the evening.

Lots of fun.  I cannot wait until next Friday! -and my costume, if I can get it all together in time, we'll seeee.
I love Halloween...and this time of year, just make it cold, please!!

i love you babyyyy

After a number of dinner & movie nights this week (although I must add, I've never cooked this much & am becoming a better cook w each meal we make!)  I decided to venture out to hang w some friends.  We danced all night to the familiar favorites we've grown to expect at teddy's & ended the night picking up food from rainforest as per usual.

(The above is a shot from the larger than life performance of "Can't Take my Eyes Off of You" on Hollywood Blvd at 2am...2 separate passers by couldn't resist but join in on the singing.  It was pretty awesome!)

twenty-three and counting

10-9 to 10-12 was a whirlwind of a weekend.  B flew down from SF on my actual birthday which was the best birthday gift ever.  Thursday night after being ladies who lunch, we went to a delicious dinner at Gingergrass with Lisa.  Friday Sara, Susy, her boyfriend & Kelli all came down for dinner or 'the last supper' as our picture illustrates at La Rizza.

After that some of us stopped by my friend Emily's American History themed birthday party before heading over to Sheldon's house. Tawny was Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad while Luke was Black Tuesday. There were tons of other awesome costumes but unfortunately my camera died after this one photo.
And then came Saturday...oh Saturday.  I didn't take nearly enough pictures because as the night went on, I became more and more distracted-so if you have any, please send them to me.  I don't think any of these do the party justice, bc more than half of you are missing from all of these, but thanks again to EVERYONE who attended & I hope you all had as much fun as I did!
