Things I learned over this past weekend: sneak attacking The Room on movie nights is always a good idea. La Vie En Rose is pretty depressing. Car shopping, even with the perfect partner, is still scary. There's never enough time for everything.

There's something about this film that makes me want to start it over the second it finishes. Part of that may be attributed to the reasons I'm so found of Amelie. Why are the French so much better at romance cinema than anything spewed out here?

here today, gone tomorrow

Another weekend has flown by and we're back to the grind. A couple cars of us drove up to Bergamont Station to see The Fling, Romany Rye & Sam Outlaw play at the ISM Polaroid show. Being at the gallery, surrounded by all the art reminded me how badly I need to get back up to the Getty.

(Strawberry shortcakes & mimosas are the perfect sunday afternoonish treat.)
