Valentino RTW 2010

I love Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli's 2010 RTW collection. The sheer lace garments are sexy while simultaneously classy & elegant. The shoes are simple & delicate. I think that Maria & Pier Paolo are doing a great job representing the Valentino name while incorporating their own personalities.

And We Don't Stop..

Saturday was Jessica's bridal shower. Surreal.

Saturday evening we went to the opening night of the 75th year of the Symphony. Safe to say I felt like a 35 year old woman that day. Sunday rolled around and I was back to being 24 again. Saw WTWTA that evening. I cried a little. I enjoyed it; it was dark & beautifully done. With that said, if I ever have a child like Max, I will drive him to a truck stop, leave him there & never look back.

Stumbled across these fingerprint wedding bands. Jess already has a beautiful ring, but I'm sure there will be more friends announcing marriage plans in the next weeks/months whatever, that I can suggest this to for the ultimate 'awww' factor.

Birthday Week Recap

Thank you to everyone who took time out over the last week to celebrate my birthday with me! We've managed to have fun every night since last Thursday, I love my friends.

Every birthday morning should involve waking up to mimosas & egg scrambles.

Standard bday celebration at my house.

Wii is more often than not, the star of the evening.

Yesterday, my coworkers surprised me with a strawberry short cake. Down.

And apparently, my birthday really will last a week this year!

florida house life.

I spent a good portion of my weekend at the florida house. we celebrated emily's birthday with a sweet dinner. we also spent a decent amount of time just sitting on the porch, holding both trivial and substantial conversations - had a baby dance party in the kitchen - made everyone listen to my current guilty pleasure/ 'jam' - which did not go over too well. (no shame.) sunday we managed to make it to the palisades for a full moon night hike. it was a nice way to end the weekend, after everything, although now i'm about 3 hours behind on all my Sunday shows. I may just go into hiding until my birthday on friday. dear disneyland, we're coming.

Opening Ceremony collaborated with Where The Wild Things Are and they came up with these. I really do wish I could just have one of these characters follow me around all day - but the furry, cozy jackets may have to suffice.
